Our Team

Darlene Duffett has more than 20 years of experience as a creative design professional. She specializes in e-learning and online training, website development and print. Why design? Because for Darlene, modern design is a blend of the creative and the technical.  Sometimes, the art of design is in the code itself.

Darlene’s creative mission is to reveal the best way to visually represent ideas, products, and services while bringing the client’s vision to life.  Her creative process is people-oriented and communicative. Projects always include multiple points of collaboration to fully understand and portray the client’s needs while assisting them with the best visual messages for their audiences.

Darlene has collaborated on projects for large corporations, government, smaller local businesses, and some local non-profits that are close to her heart. Clients include: Walmart, Carnival Cruise Lines, Schwinn Bicycle, the U.S. Army, Immigration and Naturalization Service, American Optometric Association, The University of Vermont, Alexandria Chamber of Commerce, Alexandria Bar Association, and The Campagna Center. She has a B.A. from Marist College in Communications with a minor in Political Science and spent lots of hours at the George Washington University in their Multimedia Certification program.

When Darlene is not in the office you will likely find her on a field, watching or coaching her children, or even playing soccer herself.  If she could be anywhere she wanted, she would have her toes in the sand.

Teri’s role is to oversee all components of project management and instructional design in the project development process. She brings to the table over 20 years of experience as a learning solutions consultant and project manager on a variety of training, web design, and e-learning projects. Typical project responsibilities cover all facets of project development and design for online projects. General project management responsibilities include maintaining communication, deadlines, schedule, and budget with clients, SMEs, programmers, designers, and production teams.

Teri’s course development methodology varies and is modified to suit each particular client's needs, but always includes elements of ADDIE instructional design model, and Social, Situational, Discovery, and Adult learning theories.  Learning should be FUN!

Prior to working with Duffett Graphic Web, Teri has managed a variety of e-Learning solutions for customers such as McGraw-Hill Professional, Digital Ignite, Walmart, Pacific Cycle/Schwinn, and University of Vermont Extension. Additionally, Teri has served as Senior Director of Learning Solutions for the e-Learning company Blackboard, Inc. and as the Director of Courseware Production for University Online Publishing (UOL). Teri has a B.S. in Communication Arts and a M.S. in Curriculum Development and Computer Education from Cornell University. She supports these degrees with additional graduate coursework and multimedia certification from George Washington University.

When Teri is not in the office, she can often be found taking leisurely strolls around the neighborhood with her two girls (one human and one furry). Teri also enjoys jogging, reading, and baking cookies.
